COM 562 - Crisis Communication in Global Contexts

Crisis communication and management is a crucial organizational function.  Failure can result in serious harm to stakeholders, incur losses for an organization, or even end its very existence.  This class has prepared me to create a set of best practices and organizational steps during a crisis that showcases the knowledge learned and action steps to follow.

I created a crisis communication plan for Penelope Bell Cosmetics, which is a fictional global cosmetic brand.  

Even though the company is fictional, this plan has a crisis communication model with best practices on how to address the public, save face for the company and increase brand image after a crisis that can be a useful resource for those in the public relations field.
